With the support of world-class faculty from academia and industry, IGTC also caters to the short-term and long-term training needs of its member companies, through the delivery of special workshops, customized management development programs. 

In this endeavour, IGTC first seeks to understand, identify and assess the training needs of the organization in close consultation with the HR and Training Heads of member companies. This detailed process is critical to the appropriate design of the program and the selection of the best faculty possible. The carefully co-ordinated delivery methodology includes projects, assignments and case studies, which are relevant to the real work environment. Finally, evaluations are based on post-delivery, by assessing the application of the training received.

A.T.E. Marketing Private Limited: A four-phase training program, encompassing a total of 20 training days over one year, was specially designed for twenty-five managers of A.T.E. Marketing Private Limited. The courses covered were Strategic Management, Financial Management, Organisational Behaviour and Human Resources Development, Costing and MIS, Decision Science and Statistics, E-Commerce and Logistics, Marketing, Consumer Behaviour, Direct Marketing, International Business, Service Marketing, Brand-Image Development, and Marketing through Channels. 

BASF India Limited: A nine-module program encompassing 36 training days, was conducted intensively over three months, and specially designed for twenty two executives from cross functional divisions of BASF India Limited.  The courses covered were Business and Economic Environment, General Management, Marketing Management, Financial Management, Personnel Management, Strategic Management, Operations Management, Quantitative Methods, MIS and Information Technology.

For both programs, a 'Diploma in Business Administration' was awarded to the participants.
