FIRST CONVOCATION OF IGTC BANGALORE, BATCH 2008-2010

The 9th of April 2010 marked a very important milestone not only for Indo-German Training Centre in Bangalore about also in the lives of the 23 students of the first batch who passed out from IGTC Bangalore.

Initiated with support from Sequa gGmbh, IGTC Bangalore began in 2008 and subsequently 23 students have had the opportunity to gain indepth knowledge on general management in addition to skill and personality development but most importantly they have acquired on-the job training at some of the member firms collaborated with the IGTC Bangalore like AUMA, BOSCH, Carl Zeiss, EFD Induction, G.W Precision Tools, HOMAG, KOMET, KLUEBER Lubricants, Lincoln Helios, Mann + Hummel, Mercedes Benz Research, PRION, TUEV RHEINLAND, VOITH, WIENERBERGER etc.

Students from IGTC Bangalore Batch 2008-2010 along with Mr Steinruecke, Mrs A D’souza- Regional Director IGCC, Mr Enrico Ruhle, MD, TUV Rheinland, Mrs A Mendens, General Manager , IGTC Bangalore, Mr Friedrich Rahn, Dy Consul General, German Consulate Bangalore

Mr. Steinruecke welcomed the gathering of 200 people that comprised of IGCC members, distinguished faculty, HR Heads of the Training companies, students of the graduating Batch 2008-2010 as well as present students, parents and friends of the IGCC and IGTC.

Mr. Enrico Ruhle, the Managing Director of TUV Rheinland India Pvt Ltd, in his convocation speech to the graduating Batch, encouraged the students to carry themselves with the best attitude and same enthusiasm while entering in to the corporate world. He told them that professionalism and dedication towards individual responsibility will result in great achievements. Quoting from the Bhagavad-Gita, he reminded them that life is a journey and that they should always keep learning.

Certificates where then award to the class by Mr Friedrich Rahn, Mr Enrico Ruhle and Mr H F Kroll, Past president, IGCC.

A special award was then handed over to the Best performer from the Batch 2008-2010, Ms. AshwiniOgale who excelled in all areasduring the 18 month programme.

In conclusion, Mrs. A D'souza- Regional Director thanked all present for their constant support to the IGCC and the IGTC.
