Dr. Günter Krüger Award for Excellence 2009
 Every year, the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce awards the Best Performing Student of the Indo-German Training Centre with the Dr. Günter Krüger Award for Excellence.
For the academic year 2007 – 2009, two deserving students from the IGTC Mumbai and Chennai respectively were honored with this prestigious award at the IGCC Annual General Meeting on 30th September 2009. Mr. Ankit Jalan (IGTC, Mumbai) is now working with Inverto Sourcing Pvt. Ltd. An extremely meticulous student, Ankit performed par excellence during his academics as well as his practical training to be adjudged the best unanimously and to deserve his award.
 Mr. Anant Deshpande (IGTC, Chennai) is a very bright and talented young boy who is now working in his own family business. The awards were given by Mr. Deepak Parekh, Chairman HDFC Group and Mr. Schlaga, Charge d’Affaires a.i., German Embassy.
Both students were overwhelmed on receiving this award, which sponsors the student’s return airfare to Germany with an objective to give him an opportunity to understand best business practices in Germany through hands-on, practical training in their respective companies.
