Evaluation Process

The evaluation process at IGTC is two-fold - encompassing theoretical assessment in every subject in each phase at the Training Centre and practical appraisal by the Training Company after every two-month stint. It is multidimensional and on-going throughout the programme. Examinations may be written, oral, case studies, project assessments - or a combination of all these, and the phase-end evaluations are deemed as final.

Certification

On successful completion of the flagship 18-month programme, the IGTC student obtains two certifications:

• Post Graduate Programme in Business Administration certified by the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce (IGCC).
• Industriekaufmann / Industriekauffrau* (industrial manager), jointly awarded by the German Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DIHK) and the IGCC, which is recognized all over the world.

* Industriekaufmann / Industriekauffrau is one of the most sought after vocational certifications in Germany. It confers the title of an industrial manager to a student who has taken courses in production planning, marketing, accounting procedures and controlling, procurement and stocking, transport logistics, HR and staffing, trade laws among various other subjects. The designated duration for this certificate is 24-36 months, but has been shortened especially for the IGTC programme, as all students already possess a Bachelors degree.
