Training Program on Finance for Non Finance Managers

The Indo-German Training Centre (IGTC) is conducting a one-day training program on Finance for Non Finance Managers on Friday, i.e. November 14, 2008.

Objective : Successful organizations manage the integration of Business Goals with Financial Goals. As executives and managers move up to assume higher responsibilities, knowledge of business finance becomes essential to their growth. Finance, indeed, is the language of business. The objective of this workshop is to provide the participants with the conceptual base of topics commonly faced by non – finance executives. At the end of the workshop, participants will be able to apply the concepts comfortably and effectively and relate the same to their respective functional areas.

Trainer Profile : Mr. S. M. Fakih has done his Masters in Financial Management from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management and is a diploma holder in Operations Research from the Mumbai University. He is working in a large multi-national company in India and is currently in-charge of strategy development. He has earlier worked in functions of product management, logistics and SAP implementation. Mr. Fakih has been instrumental in providing management training to the employees of the Aditya Birla group of companies, Raymonds and M&M to mention a few.

He is a visiting faculty at various management institutes in the areas of Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Management, Mergers & Acquisitions.
