INDO GERMAN TRAINING CENTRE

Indo-German Training Centre (IGTC)

The Indo-German Training Centre is the management training division of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce. Established in Mumbai (in 1991), Chennai (in 2005), Bangalore (in 2008) and Kolkata (in 2010), all the four IGTCs share a common vision under the aegis of the Chamber. They conduct a flagship 18-month, full-time Post Graduate Programme in Business Administration based on the famed German Dual Education System that grooms business management trainees for the future requirements of IGCC member companies.

The Indo-German Training Centres at Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Kolkata are centrally located in the heart of the city, which make them easily accessible for the student community as well as enables close collaboration with the local organizations. They are fully air-conditioned, wi-fi enabled, modern training facilities. Compact classrooms, equipped with audio visual aids provide the right ambience for the faculty and the students to nurture their teaching-learning process. A well-equipped in-house library provides the necessary knowledge resources. Every year, a cumulative strength of 140 trainees can be accommodated for training across the four centres (50 in Mumbai, 30 each in Chennai, Bangalore and Kolkata) and are made readily employable for the industry.

Beyond the flagship programme, the IGTCs conduct a One Year Executive Management Programme (on weekends) and Open Training Programmes for further learning and development of employees of the IGCC member companies. IGTCs also liaison closely with member companies to periodically assess and understand their training needs and provide training solutions through Customized Management Development Programmes.
